I am waiting. Come to me…

This is the first of many journaled conversations I have had with God. When I slow to a pause; with a pen and paper in hand and expectation in my heart, I lean in and He whispers softly.

This is where I’ll meet you.

Slow down and just be.

With full intention, be with me.

Let me see you for who you are –

In the calm, in the pause.

Don’t rush into all the day holds…

Not so fast, not so quick –

Don’t go…

Wait…

Wait here with me for just a moment.

Let me love you.

Let me saturate you with more of myself –

Let me.

As you rest in this moment with me –

Feel my love –

Remember my goodness towards you –

Remember –

Me.

I have been there through it all.

Every moment

Every tear

Witness to the pain, the joy, the love, the fear

I have been right here with you

Loving you through

There is nothing in all the world that could cause my love for you to fail

There is nothing that could cause my love for you to fade.

Nothing.

My love for you will beat strong for all your days and I will wait patiently for you to come to me…

I will wait…and this is where I will meet you.

Right here, in the calm.

Though I am with you always, I long to tell you –

How much I love you and all that you mean to me.

Slow down –

And let me tell you again –

There is nothing you could ever do to separate me from you.

I am ALWAYS with you.

This is the most precious time of the day –

When you reach for my heart –

The world fades to the background and it’s just us.

Let me fill you up…

It’s all I’ve ever wanted…

This, right here, with you.
